DocumentsDate addedPublished in 1959, this is a manual issued to station agents and other station employees of the Milwaukee Road (Chicago, Milwaukee St. Paul & Pacific). I'd imagine that it's similar to manuals issued by other railroads in that period. The maintenance manual for the ubiquitous EMD SD40-2. This manual covers all parts of the locomotive except the 645E3 prime mover. A manual for the engine can be found at http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/manual/emd645e.html Chicago and Northwestern system employee timetable number 1, in effect on October 29, 1972. By this time, the C&NW had absorbed the Minneapolis & St. Louis, the Chicago Great Western, and several Iowa shortlines. However, the Wyoming coal line hadn't yet been built, and it would be almost a decade before the acquisition of the Rock Island's Twin Cities-Kansas City mainline.
